How to cancel or reschedule

Please cancel or change plans as early as you can by texting (502) 751-9719 or emailing DogWalker.Shai@gmail.com. A message that includes your name, pet’s name, and the original date helps us update the calendar quickly.

Walks, drop-ins & daycare

• 24 hours’ notice is appreciated whenever possible so the slot can be offered to another family.
• Same-day cancellations may still be charged, especially if travel or schedule commitments have already begun — Shai will confirm expectations when you book.
• Weather, illness, or emergencies: reach out as soon as you can; we’ll work with you in good faith.

Overnight boarding & multi-day care

• Please give at least 72 hours’ notice for boarding or multi-day stays when you can.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit a deposit or incur a cancellation fee if one was discussed at booking — those terms will be stated clearly before you confirm.
• Early pickup or shortened stays: let us know as soon as plans change so we can adjust care and billing fairly.

Holidays & peak dates

Holiday weeks, long weekends, and peak travel seasons fill quickly. Cancellations close to those dates may follow stricter notice or deposit rules, which will be confirmed when you reserve.

If we must cancel

If SC Pet Services must cancel because of illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and help with rescheduling or a fair adjustment. Your pet’s safety and clear communication come first.
